Why you should get involved
I believe as Americans, who's tax money funds the Israel Defense Force, it is our duty to bring attention to Israel's human rights violations against Palestine, Unfortunately, after the Nakba many Palestinians lost their right to their home, equal education, health, access to clean water, and other essential supplies. Palestinians constantly live in fear of being ripped away from their own home and land every day. No one should live like this which is why we must speak out and help however we can because if it were us in their position, we would want the same. Read over the listed action items to see what you can do to help.

- Step 1: Educate yourself! Because this is still a prevalent issue today, there is a lot of bias in the media, and you must make sure you're one of the few who understands the palestinian struggle and occupation: something that's constantly left out of the narrative.
- Step 2: Boycott israeli products and companies. By doing so you withdraw support from Israel's apartheid regime, complicit Israeli sporting, and from all Israeli and international companies engaged in violations of Palestinian human rights.
- Step 3: Join Students for Justice in Palestine, a Palestinian-led movement for freedom, justice and equality, a club typically available in college. If there isn't one, start one! SJP typically campaigns for boycott and divestment against corporations that deal with Israel and organized events that accuse Israel of war crimes, ethnic cleansing and genocide.
- Step 4: Lastly, donate and sign petitions!
